Innova Solutions is seeking a Scanning Systems Engineer for a contract position lasting 12 months, with the flexibility of remote work. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the effective processing of accounts payable transactions, maintaining financial accuracy and timeliness. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and configuration of EMC Intelligent Capture/Captiva software solutions, collaborating with the Enterprise Storage group to assess storage and backup requirements. This position also involves providing both on-site and remote technical assistance to customers and other resources, ensuring that all systems operate smoothly and efficiently. The role requires a deep understanding of various technologies and methodologies related to document capture and processing. Candidates will be expected to leverage their expertise in NET programming and SQL database design to enhance the functionality of the systems in use. Experience with large third-party Capture or ECM software solutions, particularly Intelligent Capture/Captiva 7.5, is essential. Additionally, familiarity with auto classification and indexing technologies, including barcode technologies such as OCR and ICR, is preferred. The engineer will also support IBML Batch Scanners and large volume paper processing centers from an IT perspective, ensuring that all systems are integrated effectively. The Scanning Systems Engineer will work closely with vendor resources to integrate third-party components into the overall solution, utilizing client scripting in Captiva 7.x and developing Captiva processes. The role also involves automated classification and extraction using OCR, OMR, and ICR technologies for high-volume environments, particularly utilizing Captiva Advanced Recognition.
