As a Scare Actor, you will play a crucial role in creating a unique and memorable experience for our guests by performing in haunted houses or as a street performer, all while dressed in full scary make-up and costume. Your main goal will be to frighten those who dare to enter the park, contributing to the overall excitement of the event. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can bring energy and creativity to their performances, ensuring that this year's Fright Fest is scarier than ever! This position is ideal for those who are 16 years of age or older and are available to work on weekends and select weekdays during the Fright Fest season, which runs from September 13, 2024, to November 3, 2024, including Halloween night.
Responsibilities
- Perform in a Haunted House or as a street performer in full scary make-up and costume
- Provide a unique guest experience through scaring
- Perform individually or in a group setting
- Adhere to the park standards of appearance and maintain a safe environment
- Other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older by September 1, 2024
- Must be able to work operating days (Fridays-Sundays) from September 13, 2024, to November 3, 2024, and on Thursday, October 31, 2024
- Must have an outgoing, high-energy personality
- Must be able to carry 10 to 30 lbs of heavy costume or props
- Must be able to perform in any type of weather
- Must be willing to play multiple roles
- Must be able to perform for long periods of time while walking, crouching, and crawling
- Must be able to perform in strobe lighting, fog, and other special effects
- Must be able to wear a latex mask, silicone mask, or FX makeup at all times
