About the position

The Scheduler at AccentCare plays a crucial role in coordinating patient care within the home health setting. This full-time position involves managing schedules to ensure that patients receive timely and effective care, while also supporting the overall mission of providing compassionate healthcare services. The Scheduler will work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, contributing to a team dedicated to enhancing the health journey of patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage patient scheduling for home health services.
• Ensure timely communication with patients and healthcare providers regarding appointments.
• Maintain accurate records of patient schedules and changes.
• Assist in optimizing staff assignments based on patient needs and availability.
• Support the overall operations of the home health office.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of education beyond high school in college or technical school preferred, especially in Logistics/Supply Chain.
• 1 to 3 years of working experience in clinical scheduling or a related field.
