The Scheduler/Secretary will be responsible for entering various data into computer systems, verifying the accuracy of data input, correcting errors, and printing reports as necessary. This position is essential for ensuring that the scheduling process runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the hospital's operations. In addition to scheduling, the role demands good communication skills to interact with patients and staff effectively. The Scheduler/Secretary must possess a fundamental knowledge of medical terminology and have at least one year of previous medical-related clerical experience or an associate's degree. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), is required, with specific typing requirements varying by department. CPR certification is also necessary, with requirements differing by department.
