The Scheduler is committed to supporting the Company by technical planning of the project for the purpose of finding out and planning the construction procedures and means of production necessary, the external ambiguities and conditioning factors, the most appropriate order for performance of the work and the partial deadlines and final deadline for completion of the work.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the project planning, resource analysis, functional integration and forecast and trend analysis.
  • Review schedules and prepare reports and presentations to communicate project status and findings of analysis.
  • Monitor progress during construction and re-programming if required.
  • Integrate information from the designers, construction, subcontractors, and suppliers to create a master schedule.
  • Coordinate between areas and departments to elaborate a realistic schedule.
  • Prepare detailed construction programs in Primavera P6 and the narrative.
  • Produce Cost Forecast and operate Earned Value Management process.
  • Continuously monitor all project problems, take advantage of conversion opportunities and recommend solutions for scrapping and potential.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Prepare Extension of Time (EOT).
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent field of study with 5+ years of relevant scheduling experience within the civil construction industry and proven experience with Primavera software, including maintaining and updating Primavera (P6) schedules, performance measurement systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Or a high school diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of relevant scheduling experience within the civil construction industry and proven experience with Primavera software, including maintaining and updating Primavera (P6) schedules, performance measurement systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
