About the position

As a Scheduler at Flexjet, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient scheduling of aircrew and aircraft resources for specific flights. Your primary responsibility will be to create schedules that not only adhere to all safety regulations and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) but also enhance the overall owner experience while minimizing costs for the company. This position requires close collaboration with various departments to achieve operational goals and maintain high standards of service. In this role, you will be tasked with assigning aircraft resources for each flight, exercising delegated Operational Control over the initiation, conduct, and termination of each flight. You will monitor and maintain continuous awareness of the status of each flight, confirming crew acceptance of assignments and ensuring that flight following and locating occurs as required. It is essential to ensure continuity of information flow within the Scheduling Department and to verify that all aircraft have valid crew assignments that meet currency and qualification requirements. Additionally, you will monitor crew duty/rest and flight time limits to ensure compliance with 14 CFRs, coordinate with all GCC functional groups to support all flights, and work closely with Maintenance Control to assign positioning flights to maintenance facilities. Inputting aircraft exclusions, reverse trip locks, and trip locks into the Scheduling Grids will also be part of your responsibilities. You will coordinate the communication of all schedule changes with each GCC group and the OS/CAM Department, providing cross-functional support during non-peak activity periods.
