About the position

The Scheduling Analyst is responsible for providing technical support in maintaining and improving batch schedules using various scheduling tools. This role involves working with both application and batch operation teams to automate processes and enhance the batch environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex batch scheduling and will mentor less experienced associates while ensuring adherence to company processes and service level agreements.

Responsibilities

• Handle moderate and high complexity batch scheduling assignments.
• Lead tasks to establish as a go-to product Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Adjust work based on a comprehensive understanding of the overall picture.
• Collaborate with application teams to build automation for complex scheduling.
• Work with operations teams to automate processes and reduce manual work.
• Provide input and assist with environment upgrades and changes.
• Serve as the SME for batch scheduling software.
• Follow and understand the company's change control process.
• Meet ticket Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
• Complete internal and external reporting.
• Mentor less experienced associates.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Designing skills.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to represent Ensono in front of clients.
• Knowledge of batch scheduling products (ESP and others are a plus).
• Mainframe knowledge (TSO, SDSF, JCL, QuickRef).
• ITIL foundation.
• Self-directed.
