About the position

The Client Service Supervisor is an entry-level management position at Aveanna, responsible for scheduling caregivers to meet patient needs while minimizing unstaffed shifts. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure effective performance management of field staff, enhancing caregiver engagement, and delivering exceptional customer service to families and caregivers. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain caregiver schedules to ensure proper coverage for all shifts.
  • Manage changes to the schedule, including shift swaps and time-off requests.
  • Develop and implement strategies to retain highly valued caregivers.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure caregivers are matched with patients based on specific needs.
  • Review and validate employee work schedules and shifts for accuracy in time and attendance records.
  • Monitor and analyze Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) data for compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain oversight of payroll expenses to align with budgetary constraints.
  • Address scheduling conflicts or issues that arise.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for timely disbursement of compensation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for caregivers and families regarding scheduling matters.
  • Communicate changes in schedules to caregivers and families.
  • Implement initiatives to revitalize relationships with inactive caregivers.
  • Monitor and analyze staffing levels, adjusting schedules based on workload and demand.
  • Coordinate patient schedules to accommodate caregivers' certification and licensing status.
  • Maintain records of staff availability and preferences for scheduling.
  • Provide training and orientation to new staff regarding scheduling policies and procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of staff schedules, attendance, and time-off requests.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in scheduling and staffing coordination.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation schedule
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Six (6) months previous agency staffing experience
  • One (1) year previous office work experience
  • Healthcare experience
  • Bilingual
