The Scheduling Coordinator / Front Desk Customer Service Associate at Pobanz Orthodontics plays a crucial role in ensuring that daily schedules run smoothly, providing exceptional service to patients and fostering trust and loyalty. This full-time position requires a friendly and energetic individual who is dedicated to delivering outstanding experiences and exceeding patient expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior patient service with compassion and care according to patient needs and company policies.
  • Help patients schedule appointments and resolve their questions via phone, text, or email.
  • Welcome patients and check them in for their appointments.
  • Collect payments made at the front desk.
  • Keep the office tidy, including stocking the coffee bar and organizing paper forms.
  • Scan and file mail and other crucial documents.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Help provide an exceptional experience for every patient on every visit.

Requirements

  • Office experience in a medical or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work a multi-line phone system.
  • Experience multi-tasking in a busy environment while paying attention to details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to educate and influence patients.
  • Strong team player.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Nice-to-haves

  • Orthodontic experience is strongly preferred, but dental or medical practice experience is acceptable.
