About the position

AdvanceCare Health Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join their Home Care department. This full-time position involves managing caregiver schedules to ensure that shifts are fully staffed, while also maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and scheduling, and will be responsible for ensuring accurate and effective scheduling for clients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Schedules caregivers with new and existing clients, ensuring 100 percent of shifts are fully and reliably staffed.
• Manages medical scheduling systems to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
• Modifies and updates caregiver schedules according to client needs.
• Works with caregiver staff to ensure proper caregiver and client matches.
• Maintains a positive demeanor and effectively multitasks in a high-functioning environment.
• On-call duties once a month as needed.

Requirements

• Must be reliable and outgoing with good customer service skills.
• Presentable and professional appearance when meeting with clients.
• Clear understanding of caregiving and office tasks.
• Experience in caregiving, CNA, or medical field preferred.
• Scheduling experience is a plus.
• Must be over the age of 18 and have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to clear a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Strong organizational skills and self-discipline.
• Ability to handle frequent interruptions and multitask effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Wellsky, Sandata, and Healthstar is a plus.
• Experience in caregiver scheduling is preferred.
