About the position
AdvanceCare Health Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join the Home Care department. This role is essential for ensuring that caregivers are effectively scheduled with clients, thereby impacting the quality of life for clients in the eldercare industry. The ideal candidate will be independent, self-motivated, and possess a high level of energy and attention to detail, with a passion for providing exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Schedules caregivers with new and existing clients, ensuring 100 percent of shifts are fully and reliably staffed.
- Manages medical scheduling systems to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Modifies and updates caregiver schedules according to client needs.
- Works with caregiver staff to ensure the proper caregiver and client match.
- Maintains a positive demeanor at all times and effectively multitasks in a high-functioning environment.
- On-call duty once a month as needed.
- Willing to perform other tasks and jobs as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be reliable, outgoing, and possess good customer service skills.
- Presentable and professional appearance when meeting with clients.
- Clear understanding of caregiving and office tasks.
- Experience in caregiving, CNA, or medical field preferred.
- Scheduling experience is a plus.
- Must be over the age of 18 and have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to clear a criminal background check (7-10 years) and drug screen.
- Experience in successfully working as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
- Strong organizational skills and self-discipline.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Wellsky, Sandata, and Healthsuite is a plus.
- Experience in home care is preferred.
