About the position

The Scheduling Specialist at Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is responsible for managing client onboarding and scheduling audits, ensuring that all certification requirements are met while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves planning audits, analyzing customer data, and maintaining records of customer interactions, all while adhering to company procedures and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Client onboarding and scheduling audits, planning audits 6-12 months in advance when possible.
• Verify and monitor client expiry dates and contact clients to begin scheduling next audits/tasks.
• Create proposals for current customers as needed.
• Set up audits in various software programs and provide checklists to auditors and customers.
• Send confirmation emails and audit plans to customers and auditor assignment forms to auditors; follow up to assure receipt of necessary documentation.
• Request customers to register for desired accredited software and complete registration if necessary.
• Analyze customer data for trends and trackability.
• Answer a multi-line phone system, providing exceptional customer service.
• Keep records in the software system of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
• Ensure all certification scheme/scope requirements are being met.
• Resolve and escalate customer issues as necessary.
• Perform additional projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a food-related field or relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Laboratory experience and quality management knowledge.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Time management skills and ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the auditing industry preferred.
• HACCP Training, PCQI certification.
