About the position

The Office Assistant will work directly with the Office Manager and must be able to work well with support staff as well as management. Must be an active team member with a positive attitude. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Filing hard copies of paid checks and financial documents
  • Scanning and maintaining Dropbox filing
  • Opening and distributing of mail
  • Answer and appropriately direct calls/take messages
  • Creating and organizing binders/labels
  • School site visits once per week
  • Various banking duties including bank deposits
  • Calendar maintenance for Executive Director
  • Copying for Executive Director
  • Expense receipt management for Executive Director
  • Calendar maintenance for Managing Director
  • Copying for Managing Director
  • Expense receipt management for Managing Director
  • Perform other various related tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency with Google Mail, Google Calendar, Dropbox, Word and Excel
