About the position
The School Based Clinician position is a full-time role focused on providing mental health support to students within the school environment. The clinician will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to develop effective treatment plans aimed at addressing emotional and social challenges faced by students. This role is essential in promoting the mental well-being of students and ensuring they receive the necessary support during their school day.
Responsibilities
- Meet with students at school during the school day.
- Follow the typical school schedule and work with students directly within an office in the school.
- Partner with teachers, parents, and school administration to create workable treatment plans for students needing additional emotional or social support.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field is required.
- Experience working with elementary to high school-aged clients is required.
- License preferred.
