About The Position

The position of School Bus Aide involves ensuring the safety and discipline of students while they are transported on school buses. The aide is responsible for maintaining order, administering safety rules, and taking necessary actions to address any violations of conduct. This role requires a commitment to confidentiality and the ability to report issues to the appropriate authorities when necessary. The position is part-time, requiring five hours of work per day, covering both morning and afternoon bus runs, and is available for a duration of 10 months.

Requirements

• Possess good character and reputation
• Physical and mental health

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and discipline on the bus.
• Learn and administer rules and regulations pertaining to safety and conduct of students.
• Take immediate action to stop behaviors that violate bus rules.
• Report violations to Transportation Director and/or School Principal if necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality when reporting or discussing problems or concerns that arise with students.
• Perform all other duties as may be assigned.
