About the position
Montauk Transit Service, LLC. is seeking dedicated School Bus Drivers for their Hillsborough, NJ location. The role involves operating large school buses and minibuses, providing safe transportation for students in the Townships of Franklin and Hillsborough. Candidates must be available for split shifts on weekdays and are expected to commit to a minimum of six months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Operate large school buses and minibuses safely and efficiently.
- Transport students to and from school and related activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school officials.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid CDL Class B or C with 'S' and 'P' endorsements.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass drug screening, physical, and background checks.
- Willingness to commit to employment for at least 6 months.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience driving large vehicles or buses.
- Previous experience working with children or in a school environment.
