About the position
Transit Team, Inc. is seeking Regular Education School Bus Drivers for both full-time and part-time positions, offering a competitive pay rate of $28.00 per hour. Drivers will operate Type A vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of less than 15,000 lbs., and must hold a minimum of a CDL-B license with School Bus and Passenger endorsements. Transit Team operates out of two locations, one in Minneapolis and the other in Burnsville, allowing for additional flexibility in scheduling. Responsibilities
- Operate Type A vehicles for the Minneapolis Public Schools contract.
- Ensure the safe and reliable transportation of passengers.
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Complete necessary training and preparation for the school year.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- Hold a valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement.
- Satisfactory Driving Record (no suspensions, etc.).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Familiarity with the Twin Cities metro area.
