About the position

United International College is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Counselor to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students. This part-time position plays a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive environment where students can thrive both personally and academically.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, personal, and social concerns.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student development and success.
• Develop and implement programs focused on student well-being, mental health, and academic achievement.
• Assist students in setting educational and career goals and provide guidance on decision-making.
• Coordinate with external resources and agencies as needed to support students.
• Maintain confidential student records and provide reports as required.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required).
• Experience in counseling, preferably in a school setting (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of academic development, career counseling, and mental health strategies.
