About the position

Boquet Valley CSD is seeking dedicated professionals for several anticipated positions for the 2024-2025 school year. The roles include a School Nurse, Pre-K Classroom Teacher, Art Teacher, and various other teaching and support positions. The School Nurse will be responsible for the health and well-being of students, providing medical care, health education, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The Pre-K Classroom Teacher will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, focusing on early childhood education principles and fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Art Teacher will inspire creativity and artistic expression among students, developing lesson plans that engage students in various art forms and techniques. In addition to these primary roles, the district is also looking for a .6 Music Teacher, long-term substitutes for Music and Math, Teacher Assistants, Teacher Aides, Building Substitutes, an Elementary STEM Teacher, Bus Drivers, and Food Service Helpers. Each position plays a vital role in supporting the educational mission of Boquet Valley CSD, contributing to a positive and productive learning environment for all students. Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and health education to students as a School Nurse.
• Create and implement lesson plans for Pre-K students as a Classroom Teacher.
• Inspire and teach art techniques and appreciation as an Art Teacher.
• Support classroom activities and assist teachers as a Teacher Assistant or Aide.
• Substitute for teachers in various subjects as a Building Substitute.
• Teach STEM concepts to elementary students as an Elementary STEM Teacher.
• Drive and maintain school buses as a Bus Driver.
• Assist in food service operations as a Food Service Helper.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license for the School Nurse position.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education for the Pre-K Classroom Teacher.
• Degree in Fine Arts or Education with a focus on Art for the Art Teacher.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting for Teacher Assistants and Aides.
• Ability to adapt to various teaching environments for Building Substitutes.
• Knowledge of STEM education principles for the Elementary STEM Teacher.

Nice-to-haves
