About the position
The School of Engineering at Manhattan College is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach in its undergraduate bachelor of science degree programs. Adjunct faculty are needed for the departments of chemical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, electrical and computer engineering, and mechanical engineering. The college offers both daytime and evening courses, and plans to provide in-class instruction for students.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in engineering disciplines
- Prepare course materials and assessments
- Engage with students and provide academic support
- Participate in departmental meetings and activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM discipline
- Minimum of a master's degree in a related field of study
- Relevant engineering practice and/or teaching experience is a plus
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in teaching at the undergraduate level
- Professional engineering experience
