A proactive approach is essential, as the specialist will need to identify opportunities for improvement, provide recommendations, and support the implementation of these improvements. Additionally, the role involves supervising a team of contractors, monitoring their reporting of time and services to maximize return on investment, and ensuring that reports and data requests are fulfilled promptly. The specialist will also be responsible for carrying out supervisory duties in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, which includes interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, and addressing complaints.
