SCHOOL PORTRAIT FIELD ASSISTANT

About the position

The School Portrait Field Assistant role involves creating an exceptional customer experience during school picture days. This position requires interacting with students, school officials, and assisting with various tasks to ensure a smooth photography session. The role is integral to the Victor O'Neill Photography team, providing support and maintaining a positive atmosphere during portrait sessions. Comprehensive training will be provided, and the position is seasonal, lasting approximately through November.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, friendly, energetic attitude at all portrait sessions
• Prompt arrival at job sites
• Check-in customers for their portrait experience
• Ensure a smooth workflow between various photography stations
• Keep customers relaxed and ready to take their photos
• Identify and resolve any customer issues
• Relay messages between team members, as required
• Attention to detail when entering customer information into a database
• Help wherever needed if backlogs occur throughout the process
• Adhere to all company policies and directives

Requirements

• Must be available through November 2024
• Prior experience in customer service or a background in hospitality/tourism or experience working in schools with children is desirable
• Strong interpersonal and team skills
• Familiarity with computers, office work and basic data entry
• Comfortable working around school age kids
• Reliable transportation/driver's license
• Must pass a background check
• Willingness to travel to customer schools
