About the position

The School Psychologist - Hybrid position at E-Therapy involves providing comprehensive psychological services to students in a hybrid work environment, combining both onsite and remote support. The role focuses on enhancing students' academic achievement, social-emotional development, and positive behavior through assessments, counseling, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral strengths and needs.
• Interpret assessment results and communicate findings clearly to students, families, teachers, and school staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to students individually and in group settings.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide strategies and interventions for students' development.
• Conduct crisis intervention and support students and families in crisis situations.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities related to mental health promotion.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments and counseling sessions.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment measures and testing procedures.
• Excellent understanding of special education laws and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in assessment, counseling, and intervention techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling services (preferred).
