About the position

The School Psychologist Paid Internship offers a comprehensive experience for interns in the field of educational and school psychology. Interns will collaborate with a team of school psychologists and engage in various responsibilities aimed at supporting student outcomes. This position is designed to provide interns with the necessary skills and experiences to grow in their professional journey.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the school psychologist team
• Provide educational assessments
• Consult with staff and parents
• Write reports
• Conduct counseling sessions
• Implement MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
• Provide crisis intervention
• Act as a liaison between home, school, and community
• Maintain accurate and complete records

Requirements

• Must have a four-year degree
• Graduate work in educational/school psychology
• Evidence of eligibility for an intern position from a graduate program
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Colorado Department of Education Special Services Intern Authorization credential
