About the position

The School Registrar at George I. Sanchez Charter Schools is responsible for coordinating and overseeing registration procedures for all students, determining enrollment eligibility, and maintaining student academic records. This role involves analyzing data and creating reports for school administration, as well as collaborating with teachers to ensure accurate grade postings. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, and it is essential to be bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee registration procedures for all students.
• Determine enrollment eligibility for students.
• Analyze data and create professional reports as required by district/school administration.
• Work closely with teachers to ensure grades are posted for all students.
• Evaluate, maintain, and ensure the custody of all student academic records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience working with student data or records in a middle or high school.
• Experience with PEIMS data submissions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree or some college experience preferred.
