About the position

Select Savvy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to support students' emotional, social, and academic success in a collaborative school environment. This full-time, contract role involves providing counseling and developing intervention plans tailored to student needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address barriers to learning and promote student success.
• Develop and implement intervention plans and strategies tailored to student needs.
• Support students and families in accessing community resources and services.
• Assist with IEP development and implementation as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of services provided.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Work endorsement required.
• Previous experience as a School Social Worker preferred.
• Strong understanding of intervention strategies and IEP processes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
