About the position

VocoVision is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide remote therapy services to students in California. This part-time, contract position allows for flexible hours while supporting the development of PreK-12 students through virtual therapy sessions. The role emphasizes collaboration with educators and families to ensure effective treatment and student success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to understand students' motor, sensory, and daily living needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals and needs.
• Provide engaging virtual therapy sessions using research-backed methods.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure student success.
• Monitor and document each student's progress, adjusting plans as required.
• Maintain detailed, up-to-date records for each session.
• Offer consultation and support to educators for enhancing student participation.
• Stay informed on best practices and updates in virtual therapy and occupational therapy.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active California OT license.
• Certification by the NBCOT.
• Proficiency with virtual therapy platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Self-motivated and organized, with strong caseload management skills.
