About the position
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is a full-time role within a supportive school district, focusing on managing a K-5th grade caseload. The SLP will work onsite near Caledonia, Wisconsin, and is expected to start as soon as possible. This role involves providing speech therapy services to students, collaborating with educational staff, and utilizing evidence-based practices to support student communication needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage a K-5th grade caseload of students requiring speech therapy services.
- Provide individualized therapy sessions based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication goals.
- Utilize evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Wisconsin SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Minimum of 1+ years of speech therapy experience required.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy.
