About the position

The Science & Standards Portfolio Coordinator at The Nature Conservancy (TNC) plays a vital role in supporting the Corporate Engagement Science & Standards team within the Impact Finance & Markets Division. This position focuses on providing organizational, technical, and communication support for various programs related to agrifood supply chains, climate change, and biodiversity. The coordinator will help translate scientific messages for diverse audiences and ensure high-quality presentation of materials, contributing to the team's mission of integrating conservation strategies into actionable business practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide organizational and technical support for the Science and Standards team.
  • Assist in the design and communication of translational science products.
  • Ensure consistent and high-quality presentation of materials.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and presentations for the team.
  • Engage with various topics in the agrifood nexus, including climate change and biodiversity.
  • Support outreach efforts to stakeholders and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in project coordination or management.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with environmental issues, particularly in the agrifood sector.
