About the position

Peak Learning Solutions is seeking experienced Advanced Science instructors to provide tutoring in Chemistry, Biology, or Physics. The role involves working with students both in-person at the office location in the Denver Tech Center and virtually, depending on student needs. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to engage with students in a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one and in small groups with students in areas of qualification.
• Utilize multiple teaching modalities to achieve student success.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and adapt instruction as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents, director, and others regarding student work.
• Document work with students and email notes to parents after each meeting.

Requirements

• Minimum of a 4-year bachelor's degree (graduate level preferred).
• Minimum of one year of classroom teaching experience or two years of alternative experience (e.g., tutoring).
• Basic computer skills and a laptop computer.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire learners with a warm and friendly disposition.
