About the position

The Associate Research Scientist position at US Tech Solutions involves working within the Discovery Biology team at the Neuroscience Thematic Research Center. The role focuses on advanced cell culture techniques, including iPSC technology, and the automation of these processes to enhance the discovery of new treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. This is a contract position requiring full-time onsite work in Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities

• Join the Discovery Biology team in the Neuroscience Thematic Research Center.
• Learn advanced cell culture approaches including iPSC technology.
• Automate cell culture processes to accelerate drug discovery.
• Program and maintain lab automation systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (biomedical, robotics, computer science) or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience programming and maintaining lab automation.
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python or C#.
• 2+ years of experience automating bioassay workflows or cell culture.
• 2+ years of experience with cell culture and routine molecular biology techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with lab automation scheduling software and robotic systems such as HighRes Cellario and Hamilton's Venus.
