Responsibilities
- Perform and train others on a variety of analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, DSC, TGA, and UV/Vis spectroscopy.
- Develop cleaning verification methods and execute excipient compatibility studies under supervision.
- Troubleshoot and optimize analytical methods for drug product characterization.
- Conduct qualification studies to determine method suitability for Quality Control transfer.
- Maintain clear and accurate laboratory records and review colleagues' work for compliance.
- Engage in client interactions and lead discussions on technical topics.
- Propose solutions to scientific problems and supervise laboratory assistants as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with a minimum of one year of experience in analytical development, or a Master's degree with a theoretical understanding of drug development.
- Proficiency in various analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and UV/Vis spectroscopy.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
