Responsibilities

• Execute compound purification on milligram to gram scale using preparative HPLC.
• Collaborate with medicinal chemistry teams to develop methods and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain HPLC/LCMS instrumentation and troubleshoot instrument problems independently.
• Maintain a high level of productivity in the laboratory setting.
• Demonstrate responsibility in maintaining scientific standards and safe laboratory practices.
• Keep accurate and current records of research and project-related activities.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Typically 5-7+ years of job-related experience with a BS or 2-5+ years with an MS.
• Hands-on experience with analytical HPLC, preparative HPLC, and mass spectrometry.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot a variety of analytical and preparative instrumentation hardware and software.
• Knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry and effective communication with medicinal chemistry teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SFC and/or NMR.
