About the position

The Scientist - Analytical position at Snapdragon Chemistry involves working within a dynamic team to develop and implement analytical methodologies that support pharmaceutical process development and manufacturing. The role focuses on leveraging scientific knowledge to solve analytical challenges, ensuring compliance with GMP regulations, and contributing to the advancement of continuous flow technology in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Design synthetic routes suitable for continuous flow processing.
• Develop reactor systems using advanced flow technology.
• Perform analytical release and stability testing on raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and reference standards under GMP conditions.
• Conduct phase-appropriate method verification, qualification, and validation with minimal supervision.
• Author protocols, technical reports, and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and instrumentation.
• Communicate project progress with internal teams and clients.
• Support lab investigations and non-routine lab work as needed.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field with 1+ years of experience, or M.S. in Chemistry with 5+ years of experience, or B.S. in Chemistry with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with analytical techniques such as (U)HPLC, GC, KF, LC/MS, NMR, TGA, DSC, and particle size analysis.
• Familiarity with ICH guidelines and GMP regulations for pharmaceutical development and quality control.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent collaboration skills and team-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in HPLC method development and MS/NMR characterization of small synthetic peptides and oligonucleotides.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and experience in quality control testing.
