The Scientist, Networking Architect Software Engineer position at L3Harris involves working on advanced tactical military radios for the Department of Defense and Allied markets. Responsibilities

• Member of an Agile Scrum team that develops software for advanced tactical radio equipment.
• Responsible for research, design, and development of embedded software for software-defined radio products.
• Develops and conducts software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Provides technical support to internal and external customers.
• Executes software development process in a CMMI Level 3 environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
• Mastery level knowledge within a specific technical area or multiple job areas, viewed as an expert by peers.

Nice-to-haves

• Able to work closely with engineering leadership and external customers to understand requirements and generate solutions based on customer requests.
• Subject matter expert with networking protocols.
• Experience with C, C++, and object-oriented design.
• Experience in embedded development on Linux platforms.
• Knowledge of HAIPE.
