About the position

The position involves working as part of a cross-functional team to deliver research and development (R&D) activities for new product development, portfolio maintenance, and productivity projects at Mondelēz International. The role emphasizes meeting consumer experience goals while adhering to good manufacturing practices and regulatory requirements. The candidate will be responsible for organizing and executing projects, conducting trials, writing technical reports, and maintaining consumer-led specifications under the guidance of a manager.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and execute R&D projects in line with marketing and manufacturing requirements.
  • Plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials following good manufacturing practices and HACCP requirements.
  • Write technical reports analyzing and interpreting results to lead to conclusions and recommendations.
  • Create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of product development experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong technical foundation and curiosity.
  • Ability to develop, plan for, and carry out plant trials.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including technical writing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in fast-moving consumer goods market.
  • Ability to identify problems proactively and implement solutions independently.
  • Experience in consumer test preparation and product shelf-life testing.
