As a Senior Principal Cyber Engineer at L3Harris, you will play a pivotal role in leading multiple teams focused on the development, integration, and testing of cyber software capabilities. This position encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including vulnerability research, embedded systems reverse engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO) and Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) development, hardware emulation, system engineering, and data analytics. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and resolving technical issues across various technologies such as Linux, Windows, virtualization, mobile, and embedded/IoT systems. You will provide technical guidance to the program and influence the requirements and design of cyber capabilities, ensuring that they meet the mission-critical needs of our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for leading teams in the execution of cyber software development projects, ensuring adherence to AGILE software development concepts and processes. You will utilize tools such as IDA Pro and Ghidra for binary analysis, and you will be expected to write, test, and debug code in languages such as Assembly, C, C++, and Python. A solid understanding of telecommunications systems, network protocols, and cyberspace concepts will be essential for success in this position. You will also engage with commercial and open-source forensic analysis tools and conduct embedded system analysis. Your leadership skills will be vital as you build effective relationships, energize teams, and deliver results while modeling ethical behavior. You will foster strong partnerships with customers and collaborate with various stakeholders, including hardware and software design teams. Exceptional communication skills will be necessary for preparing and presenting reports, briefings, and updates, as well as representing L3Harris on significant program matters. You will also be involved in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems throughout the system lifecycle, formalizing requirements, and developing plans based on customer interactions.
