There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team on cutting-edge technologies at the intersection of genome engineering, immuno-oncology, and single-cell multiomics. In particular, you will focus on research areas such as T cell engineering, in vitro and in vivo characterization, and development of a research-scale manufacturing process. The successful candidate will be an excellent team player and a diligent experimental biologist who can thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. As part of a rapidly growing team of immunologists and genome engineers, you will be involved in developing effective and safe cellular therapies for solid tumors. OverT Bio, founded in 2022, has pioneered new pooled functional screening and synthetic genomics platforms (OverTarget and OverTune) to develop next-generation engineered immune cells. The science behind these platforms has been published in leading journals including Nature, The New England Journal of Medicine, and Nature Reviews Cancer. Your role will include developing, designing, and refining viral and non-viral engineering strategies for the modification of primary human T cells, including specific subsets. You will also design, execute, and analyze complex experiments across both in vitro and in vivo systems for the characterization of engineered T cells in the context of solid tumor cancers. Utilizing cutting-edge high throughput and multi-omic technologies, you will discover biomarkers of optimal human donors for an effective engineered T cell product. Additionally, you will become a subject matter expert able to find creative solutions to unexpected problems.
