About the position

Peraton is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the Cyber Operations Manager role for the upcoming SCITES (USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services) project. This position is located at the SOUTHCOM HQ in Doral, FL, and involves supporting the HQ, TSOC, and other locations abroad, including GTMO, Honduras, and Colombia. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a broad spectrum of centralized IT infrastructure, services, and processes, including Cybersecurity Task Order (CTO) compliance activities for the USSOUTHCOM networks. This includes oversight of three enduring Joint Task Forces (JTFs) and multiple Security Cooperation Offices (SCO). The Cyber Operations Manager will play a critical role in continuously evolving and leveraging the latest technologies and best practices to refresh capabilities and ensure that platforms and intelligence operations are optimized to support SOUTHCOM missions. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for senior customers, including the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and the Contracting Officer (KO). You will be accountable for meeting all contract performance and customer/mission objectives, including service level agreements (SLAs), as well as financial objectives such as revenue, EBIT, DSO, and bookings. Additionally, you will be responsible for non-financial objectives, including employee growth and attrition rates. The position requires coordination with subcontractor leads and potential new teammates, as well as collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies. You will also partner with Human Resources to create retention and training strategies, ensuring a detailed understanding of the contract and the ability to effectively engage with all customers, including J64 and FEDSIM. The Cyber Operations Manager will need to have a technical understanding of all work areas and an active knowledge of emerging technologies. You will collaborate with senior corporate leads to establish a long-term plan, define and enforce program policies, and implement efficiencies while managing risks associated with the program.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior customers, the COR, and the KO.
  • Accountable for meeting all contract performance and customer/mission objectives, including SLAs.
  • Responsible for meeting all Peraton program financial objectives, such as revenue, EBIT, DSO, and bookings.
  • Accountable for meeting all Peraton program non-financial objectives, including attrition and employee growth.
  • Implement short and long-term strategic goals for the program.
  • Coordinate with subcontractor leads and potential new teammates.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to develop and implement retention and training strategies.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the contract and effectively work with all customers, including J64 and FEDSIM.
  • Possess a technical understanding of all work areas and an active knowledge of emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with senior corporate leads to establish a long-term plan for the program.
  • Define and enforce program policies and procedures.
  • Implement efficiencies and manage risks associated with the program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree required.
  • 12+ years of experience in a related field (additional experience may be substituted for degree).
  • Experience leading successful programs with a total contract value greater than $500M.
  • Familiarity with DoD customers and/or USSOUTHCOM IT.
  • Strong presentation, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Possess a fully adjudicated TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Nice-to-haves

  • Possess certifications as required in DoD 8570 Baseline Information Assurance Management (IAM)-III level.
  • Six+ years of experience managing complex programs.
  • Five+ years of leadership experience in command and control in any warfighting domain.
  • Four+ years of leadership experience in command and control in the cyber warfighting domain.
  • Three+ years of in-depth experience operationalizing JFHQ DODIN Cyber Task Orders.
  • Three+ years as a cyber-analyst responding to cyber incidents caused by internal and external threats to COCOM constructed networks.
  • Three+ years of experience with cybersecurity tools such as IPS, IDS, log correlation tools, endpoint security, vulnerability scanning, and patch management.
  • One+ year experience in DISA's Joint Regional Security Stack.
