About the position

The Print Specialist will lead the production team during the setup and teardown process, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the order. This role involves constant communication with the Operator and Press Tech to troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime during production runs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all information for an order is correct including grid information, inks, garments, and print guide.
• Lead the team (Tech, operator, inspector) during the setup/teardown to achieve first quality sign off utilizing time management.
• Effectively setup and run as much product possible each day during the shift while minimizing rejects.
• Use tri-loc and any set-up SOPs to limit downtime needed to perform job tasks within the team.
• Unload garments during the run, looking for any change in printing or quality.
• Maintain constant communication with the run team and press tech to resolve print and/or ink issues in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate a good attitude and lead by example when communicating with press techs, operator, and quality.
• Communicate changes and identify opportunities within the production process such as make-ups, pulling problems, re-shoots, or art issues.
• Ensure ink controls and SOPs are being followed at all times.
• Keep the work environment neat and clean daily, sustaining 6S.
• Work with high sense of urgency and pace.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Screen Print Press operating experience REQUIRED.
• Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language.
• Dependable attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime and be flexible with hours.
• Team oriented mindset.
• High energy and ability to work with urgency.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner.
