About the position

Evolve Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team in Woodland Hills, CA. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in medical terminology and office administration, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic medical office setting. The Office Administrator will play a crucial role in managing medical documentation, ensuring that all records are accurately transcribed and maintained. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Office Administrator will be responsible for documenting patient history, which includes recording a patient's dictated history, physical examination, family, social, and past medical histories. Additionally, the role involves documenting procedures, lab results, and radiographic impressions, as well as recording a patient's interactions with the doctor during consultations, examinations, and diagnosis sessions. The successful candidate will also be tasked with entering documented information into electronic health records (EHR), ensuring that all data is accurately captured and easily accessible. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with expected hours ranging from 24 to 36 hours per week. The work schedule consists of 8-hour shifts during the day, with no weekend work required. The Office Administrator will contribute to the smooth operation of our medical office, supporting the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage medical documentation, including transcribing and typing medical records
  • Document patient history, including dictated history, physical examination, family, social, and past medical histories
  • Record procedures, lab results, and radiographic impressions
  • Document patient interactions with the doctor during consultations, examinations, and diagnosis sessions
  • Enter documented information into electronic health records (EHR)

Requirements

  • Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Experience working in a medical office setting is preferred
  • Ability to type accurately and transcribe information swiftly
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ER procedures and documentation systems is a plus
