About the position

The Scrum Coordinator plays a crucial role in our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment, performing a wide variety of cross scrum team-related duties. This includes developing program strategies for Software Development, monitoring project status, and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The Scrum Coordinator will work closely with all project stakeholders to schedule and organize program-related events, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common goals. In this position, you will collaborate with talented global teams consisting of software, system, and test engineers. Aptiv is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) products that enhance vehicle safety. As a Scrum Coordinator, you will establish and communicate the sprint and program iteration cadence calendar, facilitate program ceremonies such as Big Room Planning and scrum of scrums, and maintain program-level metrics. You will also ensure proper cooperation with Software Quality Assurance (SQA), Automotive SPICE, and Quality Audits, while tracking the execution of features and coordinating with cross-regional teams to achieve project objectives. Additionally, you will coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in lean-agile practices and mindsets, manage risks and dependencies, and resolve, escalate, and track impediments. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, making it essential for the Scrum Coordinator to be adaptive and comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and communicate sprint and program iteration cadence calendar for the program
  • Facilitate program ceremonies (e.g., Big Room Planning, scrum of scrums, etc.)
  • Communicate and maintain program level metrics
  • Ensure proper cooperation with SQA (SW Quality Assurance), Automotive SPICE, and Quality Audits
  • Track the execution of features
  • Coordinate with cross regional teams as needed to achieve project objectives
  • Plan and coordinate program iteration activities with other global sites
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in lean-agile practices and mindsets
  • Manage risks and dependencies
  • Resolve, escalate and track impediments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study)
  • 5+ years professional experience in Consumer Electronics or Automotive Industry
