About the position

Innova Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position is a contract role with a duration of 13+ months and offers a hybrid work model, requiring three days in the office and two days remote. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile practices and ensuring that the Scrum framework is effectively implemented within the team. You will participate in low to moderately complex initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvements within Scrum or Agile methodologies. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing basic or tactical Scrum Master assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. In this role, you will present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. You will also provide information to client personnel, ensuring that communication is clear and effective. The ideal candidate should possess Kanban experience and have the ability to escalate issues while exercising independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in conflict resolution, are essential for success in this position. Additionally, familiarity with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required. Experience with Agile tools for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as JIRA, is also necessary.
