About the position

IDR is seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join one of our top clients in Memphis, TN. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and are passionate about leveraging Agile methodologies to enhance team effectiveness. The Scrum Master will facilitate sprint planning, lead daily stand-ups, and ensure effective collaboration among cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate iteration (sprint) planning and lead work within individual sprints.
• Coordinate retrospectives and demos.
• Assist key business users (product owners) with backlog creation and prioritization.
• Ensure cross-functional team coordination among GUI designers, analysts, developers, and testers.
• Lead daily sprint stand-ups and resolve conflicts.
• Maintain and publish Agile metrics such as velocity and burn-down.

Requirements

• Ability to guide team through transition to Scrum.
• High level of familiarity with Jira.
• Proven ability to coach team effectively to plan work and deliver to business partners.
• 2+ years of Scrum Master experience.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
