About the position

The Scrum Master at Photon will play a crucial role in maximizing the value delivered by teams by ensuring that the Team Backlog is prioritized and aligned with organizational objectives. This position involves coaching teams in SAFe principles, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance team efficiency and delivery goals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers, Business Product Owners, and Infrastructure and Operation teams to maximize team value.
• Perform Scrum Master responsibilities and assist teams in meeting delivery goals.
• Teach and coach SAFe principles and practices to the teams.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to improve flow.
• Work with developers and Infrastructure and Operation teams on various implementation and support tasks.
• Research, analyze, and present business, software, and infrastructure processes and data.
• Execute customer Transformation Objectives including Product-Centric Software Engineering and Agile operations.

Requirements

• 8-9 years of experience in information technology.
• Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience running Scrum ceremonies and capturing impediments.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to track and generate Scrum completion metrics reports.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in JIRA and MS Project.
• Experience in data analytics, reports, MS Excel, and Tableau.
• SAFe PM/PO and/or Scrum Master Certification.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed with a productive sense of urgency.
