The Senior Scrum Master position in Asset Management is a mid-senior level role focused on supporting the Trading domain. The ideal candidate will be local to Boston and possess trading experience, particularly with CRD. This role requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in an asset management company and the ability to communicate effectively with complex personalities and senior leadership. The Scrum Master will practice and promote an Agile mindset, coaching and mentoring teams on Agile principles, values, and practices while exemplifying the company's leadership behaviors. In this role, the Scrum Master will independently lead the application of Agile practices, such as Scrum or Kanban, across multiple teams. Responsibilities include visualizing work, managing workflow, and facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings. The Scrum Master will enable progress toward objectives, KPIs, and commitments, guiding Agile teams in delivering product increments and outcomes. They will also identify opportunities for improving team-level Agile performance, focusing on customer value, quality, and continuous improvement. The Scrum Master will be responsible for removing impediments, resolving conflicts, and anticipating challenges while recommending mitigations and solutions. They will facilitate open communication among team members and stakeholders, promoting positive team dynamics to ensure effective collaboration. Building alliances across teams and the technical and business communities is essential, as is partnering with leadership on scaled planning activities and leading scale ceremonies. The Scrum Master will also participate in the Agile Community and contribute to increasing the overall Agile maturity of teams, supporting higher complexity work towards successful outcomes. Additionally, they may take on a scrum-of-scrum role, managing the flow of work across an entire domain rather than just individual teams.
