About the position

Our client in the pharmaceutical logistics industry is seeking a Scrum Master / ATF to join the team! The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in guiding the team and organization on how to adopt agile practices and values to delight customers. This position involves coaching the team in self-organization, cross-functionality, and Team Based Solutioning (TBS). The Scrum Master will also coach team members and stakeholders to understand and embrace empirical product development, ensuring that the team is aligned with agile methodologies. In this role, the Scrum Master will support and educate the Product Owner, particularly on value management practices for effective Product Backlog refinement and prioritization. Facilitating discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution will be key responsibilities, as well as assisting with internal and external communication to improve transparency and radiate information. The Scrum Master will observe team interactions and provide feedback and learning opportunities as appropriate, embodying a servant leadership style and leading by example to support the team effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Guiding the team and organization on how to adopt agile practices and values to delight customers
  • Coaching team in self-organization, cross-functionality and Team Based Solutioning (TBS)
  • Coaching team and stakeholders to understand and embrace empirical product development
  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner on value management practices for effective Product Backlog refinement & prioritization
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
  • Observing team interactions and providing feedback and learning opportunities
  • Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience required
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills
  • Proficient PC skills; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) preferred
  • Experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team that was diligently applying agile values, principles, and practices
  • Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach
