About the position

The Scrum Master, Consultant will lead and facilitate data capability use cases and complex analytic solution projects within the Growth and Servicing Analytics team. This role focuses on driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, member growth, and customer satisfaction through Agile methodologies. The Scrum Master will serve as a coach for Agile teams, ensuring effective execution of projects from requirements development to tracking outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Scrum Master/Team Coach for Agile teams.
  • Educate and lead one or more Agile teams in Scrum, Built-in Quality, Kanban, and Scaled Agile (SAFe) principles and practices.
  • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning readiness and support the team in creating PI plans, objectives, and business values.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, and Product Management roles to enhance business agility.
  • Lead iteration execution by facilitating team events such as backlog refinement, team planning, and retrospectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison to the Data Services team, managing use cases and facilitating conversations between technical and business teams.
  • Drive delivery and strategic alignment through cross-functional road-mapping in line with corporate goals.
  • Manage team strategy and projects, defining and tracking goals, and ensuring work is prioritized appropriately.
  • Represent the team in Key Project funding meetings and strategic planning sessions.
  • Create and maintain structure for team projects, managing timelines and milestones, and communicating project statuses effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Scaled Agile (SAFe) Certification and 7 years of Project Management or Scrum Master experience.
  • Preferred Scrum Master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC); CSM, A-CSM (Scrum Alliance certifications).
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Scrum Master for a Scrum team.
  • Experience using JIRA and AgilePlace.
  • Relevant work experience supporting technical/analytical teams; technical program manager experience preferred.
  • Expertise in tools such as Jira, Tableau, MS Teams, SharePoint, and MS Office suite.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to communicate and present status updates clearly to different management levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality in deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across various work streams.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies in a technical environment.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
