In this role, you will deliver data projects and products on time, within budget, while meeting Marriott's expectations. You will plan, assign, direct, and coordinate activities pertaining to data technology projects, on an enterprise level or for a major systems implementation program with multiple releases and work streams. You will verify project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. You will be responsible for managing the team that develops and carries out internal information technology projects and products. As a Scrum Master, you will support one or more software delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Proactively identifying impediments and resolving them using a network of peers or escalation if needed is also a key responsibility. In this role, you will guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Lean and Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers. You will resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization and work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests. Optimizing team performance by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques is essential.
