About the position

The Scrum Master (Team Coach) at Compass Group NA will support the S/4HANA implementation program, which aims to streamline and consolidate finance processes across the organization. This role involves managing team iterations, facilitating Agile methodologies, and coaching team members to enhance their performance and productivity. The Scrum Master will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, resolve issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables at the end of each sprint.

Responsibilities

• Helping agile teams apply the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Supporting the team's planning of deliverables
• Helping teams monitor performance utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Resolving issues that hinder the teams' work
• Coordinating iterations, retrospective meetings, and daily syncs
• Coaching team members in Agile frameworks
• Listening and supporting teams in problem-identification and decision making
• Being the point of contact for external communications (e.g., from customers or stakeholders)
• Working with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Resolving conflicts and removing obstacles that occur
• Helping teams implement changes effectively
• Ensuring deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
• Guiding development teams to higher scrum maturity
• Helping build an environment where team members ‘own' the product and enjoy working on it
• Facilitating the coordinated preparation and execution of PI planning for an agile team.

Requirements

• Experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks
• Proficiency in using Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach and mentor team members
• Problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Familiarity with finance systems and processes
• Certification in Scrum Master or Agile methodologies
